Fastlink Data Cables manufacture customer specific cables to all kinds of specifications. A lot of our custom cables are for mixed signal applications and integrating power into the cable.
The customer has complete control over the design of the cable including colour and lengths.
Obviously, the terminations are down to the client and can be free issuedor sourced by Fastlink.
As with our looms, the cables can be finished in any way the client chooses i.e. the cable ends can be cut, stripped, stripped and tinned or terminated with any connector.
We have many different types of cable, used in many applications. Furthermore, Fastlink has experience with many industry standards including Defence, Automotive and Avionics, to name just a few. These are just a couple of the more challenging ones.
Quality is paramount in Fastlink and all our custom cables are fully tested prior to dispatch using our Cirrus and Agilent testers. We can even carry out destruction testing on batch samples, if required.
As with all our cables there is no minimum order quantity which makes our service ideal for prototyping. However, Fastlink also has the capacity to take projects further, through pre-production and into final production. This level of service means that Fastlink can then revert back to small quantities lending itself to servicing self helping to support the systems out in the field. Therefore, Fastlink can be your partner throughout the entire life cycle of the product.
